The University of Wisconsin - Green Bay is currently seeking applications for a 2nd shift Custodian position. This position will have work hours from 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and will maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the designated work area. Work performed in this position includes manual cleaning and maintenance of UWGB buildings. General areas of responsibility include: cleaning offices, restrooms, and other building areas; maintaining all floor surfaces including mopping, buffing, vacuuming, shampooing, and refinishing; cleaning windows (inside and outside); cleaning furniture; assisting with furniture, piano and equipment moves as required; stocking restrooms and custodial work areas with necessary supplies and products; waste and recycling removal; snow removal and salting of building entrances. Work is performed under the direction the Custodial Services Supervisor. This position will be required to drive a State vehicle and travel between work locations as needed.

Hourly wage of $17.00.
This position will earn an additional $0.80 per hour for all weekend hours worked, as well as for all hours worked between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
This position is not exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

This position is a full-time University Staff appointment. A criminal conviction investigation and pre-work screen examination will be conducted on the finalist(s). A six-month probationary period is required for this position. In compliance with the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act, the University does not discriminate on the basis of arrest or conviction record.
