Job Title : Head of Sales - Sports Recovery & Performance Tech
Location : Remote (United States, based in Colorado, Florida or Texas)
Travel : up to 25%
Summary :
We’re looking for a founding sales leader who thrives in an early-stage, high-ambiguity environment. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build the sales motion-digital and in-person-from the ground up—owning top-of-funnel strategy, leading sales conversations, and directly informing our product roadmap.
This is not a “plug and play” role—we’re looking for someone who can test value propositions, craft messaging from scratch, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive us toward product-market fit in the clinic and performance center segment.
Responsibilities :
- Build and execute a hybrid (digital + in-person) sales motion, including email, phone, social, and onsite channels
- Test and refine Quantum’s value proposition through direct feedback from prospects
- Act as a voice of the customer - working closely with product and leadership to inform the roadmap and GTM
- Establish early sales infrastructure: CRM setup, pipeline management, outreach templates, and sales process
- Conduct discovery calls, product overviews, and drive deals to close
- Develop personalized outreach strategies tailored to buyer personas (clinic owners, performance directors, rehab specialists)
- Track, analyze, and report on lead generation and conversion metrics
- Hire, train, and mentor future sales hires as we scale
Qualifications :
- 5–10 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in digital health, wellness tech, or performance markets
- Proven success as a founding or early sales hire (0→1)—building the sales funnel, closing early customers, and shaping GTM from scratch
- Strong preference for experience selling into physical therapy, sports medicine, or clinic environments
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with product teams to align customer feedback with roadmap development
- Skilled in testing messaging, refining the value proposition, and adapting quickly based on prospect insights
- Proficient with CRM tools and comfortable setting up and managing sales infrastructure
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with high ownership, strong execution, and comfort operating in ambiguity
- Passion for sports, performance, or movement science is a strong plus
