Responsibilities:

  • Support competitive analysis for New Product Development (NPD) by working with pricing, fill size, packaging, and positioning to help ensure new launches are aligned with category and market benchmarks.
  • Assist in monitoring industry and category trends, including product marketing approaches and retail-specific activations across the beauty landscape.

  • Support product launches and channel-specific activations
  • Contribute to  product launches and channel-specific activations by helping track timelines, gathering assets, and assisting with cross-functional coordination.
  • Help maintain and update the Master Calendar and Product Item Master to ensure product details, launch dates, and internal information remain accurate and up to date.
  • Assist in the creation and organization of new launch toolkits, including assets, copy, key product information, and internal reference materials.
  • Provide day-to-day operational support as needed, including assisting with FedEx shipments, label creation, and coordinating sampling and product send-outs.

Requirements:

  • NYC preferred
  • Brand experience and/or working in beauty is a bonus!
  • Prior experience interning for product marketing, trade marketing, and/or brand marketing departments; Startup experience or working closely with a brand founder, a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills
  • Strong passion and knowledge of the beauty industry is a plus
  • Proficient in Google Docs, Sheets and Slides
  • This is a remote first position, with some expectation to be in person at our NYC office
  • Rate of pay will be between $17-$18.75/hour
