Volt is immediately hiring a Production Operation in Darien, WI

As a Production Operator you will:
Follow established procedures and guidelines to perform a variety of simple, manual tasks that form part of a production process.

• Load materials into production machines.
• Remove, pack, and sort raw materials or finished products.
• Collect and dispose of garbage and production waste according to the organization's waste removal and recycling policies.
• Clean production equipment and work areas.

Skills

• Must be able to work in a physically demanding role. The work involves long hours standing and bending. Heavy lifting is also required at times.
• Lifting of up to 50 lbs. is required and sometimes lifting of boxes greater than 50 lbs. – team lift is expected.
• Basic math and computer skills are necessary for the position. Knowledge of the inventory database used in an organization is helpful, but workers may learn on the job.
• Must be able to communicate in verbal and written English.

This is a Contract full time opportunity.

Pay Rate: $21.00 - $22.56 per hour

• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
