🕒 Hours: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
📅 Additional Work: Occasional Saturday work as needed
This long-term assignment provides full-time, on-site safety support for a data center new build in Montgomery, Alabama. The Safety Manager will support construction activities with a primary focus on fire protection installations and systems , ensuring safe work practices are followed throughout all phases of the project.
Primary activities include, but are not limited to:
• Safety oversight of fire protection installations and related systems
• Application and enforcement of safe working practices for fire protection work
• Field-based hazard identification and risk mitigation
• Daily interaction with craft personnel and supervision
• Support of project-specific safety programs and regulatory compliance
• Maintain a consistent on-site field presence during active construction operations
• Monitor fire protection installation activities for compliance with safety standards
• Identify, communicate, and assist in correcting unsafe conditions or behaviors
• Complete daily safety documentation and required reports
• Participate in site safety meetings and coordination efforts
• Support enforcement of OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
• Assist with incident prevention and continuous safety improvement initiatives

✅ Minimum 4+ years of fire protection experience

This role is well-suited for a hands-on Safety Manager with strong fire protection experience who is comfortable spending the majority of their time in the field. Candidates should be detail-oriented, proactive, and confident supporting long-term, schedule-driven data center construction projects.
