VIP Manager
Position
CELINE is a fast-growing French and Leather-Goods Couture House that belongs to LVMH group driven by a new holistic and creative project led by Michael Rider, Creative Director.

Your impact
Department Strategy:
- Help to develop strategies and accompanying budget proposals for initiatives that will increase US visibility while remaining within brand image parameters – pop ups, store openings, product placements.
- Benchmark competitors consistently to determine their strategies surrounding product placements, fashion show activations, and dressing moments to help inspire innovative ideas.
- Monitor rising talent consistently to identify potential collaborators for paid proposals.
- Review US product launch calendar and outline specific strategies surrounding each item and level of support needed.
Dressing Requests:
- Lead email exchange with stylists regarding talent approvals and dressing proposals.
- Oversee sample movement in tandem with VIP Coordinator from NY showroom and Paris
Talent Proposals:
• Oversee rising talent research across industries
Gifting
- Brainstorm and finalize regional talent proposals for gifting activations.
- Pitch product launch to stylists/agents for them to engage their client.
Budget:
- Review the monthly budget with Head of VIP and US Accounting to ensure all charges are correctly billed and that numbers are on target.
- Exercise budget cuts and saving models when requested by Paris.
- Place sample orders according to approved annual budget.
MISC:
- Support stylists/assistants with talent shopping appointments, purchases, special orders.
- Oversee VIP Coordinator and Freelancer in daily activities and workflow.
Award Season / Film Festivals:
- Correspond back and forth with VIP Dev. and stylist on development of custom projects to ensure timely delivery
- Collaboration with Press Teams and talent’s PR on VIP stories surrounding dressing moments, ensuring all assets are captured during the getting ready period before the event.
Fashion Shows:
- Develop invitation listing with Head of VIP for Paris review.
- Oversee dressing proposals with HQ for VIPs and organize fitting times/dates
- Follow-up with talent stylist/agent on updates regarding all show updates and logistics as they are received
- Work with VIP Coordinator to organize and oversee travel for US VIPs
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ related experience
- Experience working with luxury brands
- Previous experience working in an international environment a plus
- Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain relationships
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-dimensional environment
- Highly agile and able to execute while dealing with ambiguity
- Superior written, verbal and presentation skills
- Ability to travel when required
Languages: Fluent in English | French is a plus

CELINE recruits and recognizes all types of talent and singularities.
The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000- $95,000 annually. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience. In addition, there is a bonus opportunity, and a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks, and a retirement plan with employer contribution
