About The Role

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Vice President of Corporate Finance to lead the financial management, control, and performance functions for Transdev U.S. Reporting to the CFO, this role plays a key part in shaping the company's financial strategy, ensuring compliance and transparency, and enabling sound business decisions across our diverse portfolio of transit operations.

The VP, Corporate Finance, serves as a key deputy to the CFO, providing leadership across Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Risk, and Financial Systems. This leader will oversee critical financial processes and help drive a culture of continuous improvement, automation, and financial discipline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, FP&A, tax, insurance, treasury, and finance technology.
  • Partner with the CFO to define and execute financial strategy, capital structure optimization, and long-term planning aligned with Group objectives.
  • Ensure full compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and Transdev Group financial policies.
  • Lead financial due diligence and integration related to M&A, divestitures, and major capital projects.
  • Direct financial controls, audits, and risk management processes across the organization.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and automation in financial systems (ERP, reporting tools, and data structures).
  • Manage relationships with key external partners, including auditors, banks, actuaries, and insurers.
  • Oversee insurance programs, actuarial reviews, and financial risk mitigation strategies.
  • Build and develop a high-performing finance team; mentor leaders and strengthen future succession capabilities.
  • Support the CFO with Board, ExCom, and Group presentations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • CPA required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of progressive finance experience, including leadership of multi-functional teams.
  • Public accounting experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in large, complex, multi-entity or multinational organizations required; exposure to transportation, infrastructure, or services industries a plus.
  • Demonstrated success leading finance transformation or ERP implementation initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of IFRS and GAAP accounting, internal controls, and compliance frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills with the ability to influence across functions.
  • Advanced proficiency with financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or similar) and analytics tools.
